New: Encrypted volumes and hard disk images are detected during a computer scan
Passware Kit scans computers and networks, finding all the password-protected and encrypted files. The new version also detects encrypted volumes and hard disk images, such as BitLocker, TrueCrypt, PGP, and others.
To decrypt a detected disk image, choose a memory analysis, hibernation file analysis, or a brute-force password recovery method. Learn more about hard disk decryption options.
NOTE: This feature is available in Forensic edition only.
New: Unprotected files are created automatically for batch processes
Passware Kit 12.5 includes an option to create unprotected files automatically when a password is recovered or reset. When batch file processing is complete, unprotected copies of the files are saved in a single folder. Supported file types: MS Office, Zip, FileMaker, SQL, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
New: AMD ATI cards are now supported for MS Office 2013, Zip, and Apple iTunes password recovery
NVIDIA and AMD ATI graphic cards are used to accelerate the password recovery processes. Passware Kit now supports ATI cards to speed up password recovery for MS Office 2007-2013 documents, Zip and Rar archives, Mac keychain files, Apple DMG images, and iTunes backups. With the latest series of the AMD cards, i.e., Radeon 7, the password recovery process is up to 30 times faster and can be further accelerated with Distributed Password Recovery.

New: Passwords extraction from Windows 8 hibernation files
Passware Kit analyzes system hibernation files (hiberfil.sys) and extracts encryption keys for BitLocker, TrueCrypt, PGP, as well as passwords for websites, Windows users and MS Office files. The new version now supports hibernation files from Windows 8.
NOTE: This feature is available in Enterprise and Forensic editions only.
