What’s new:
- Password recovery for Android Second Space
- “Search for device” option
- Support for MediaTek Dimensity UFS-based devices
- Extended support for other Android devices
- Support for Android 14 and iOS 15.8.3
- Usability improvements
The Second Space feature on certain Android devices is of particular interest in computer forensics, as it allows users to create a private, hidden profile where they can run mobile apps under separate accounts. Passware Kit Mobile 2024v3 enables investigators to uncover all Second Space accounts and access the corresponding application credentials and other data.
The new “Search for device” option streamlines the acquisition process. Simply start typing the device model to initiate an incremental search within the list of supported devices. This allows you to start the decryption based on the selected model. If the device model is not yet supported, PKM offers the option to submit a feature request.
Additionally, PKM 2024v3 introduces GPU-accelerated passcode recovery for MediaTek Dimensity devices and is compatible with the latest Android 14 version.
Password recovery for Android Second Space
Second Space is a popular feature among Android users for creating separate user environments on the same device. Passware Kit Mobile 2024v3 allows investigators to uncover all Second Space accounts and retrieve associated app credentials and data. Data decryption occurs immediately once PKM unlocks the device.
PKM recovers passwords for Second Space accounts for all Android devices with File-Based Encryption.
“Search for device” option
Device decryption with PKM 2024v3 is now easier to launch: start typing the device model to initiate an incremental search within the list of supported devices. PKM then allows you to start the decryption based on the selected model. If the device model is not currently supported, PKM provides the option to submit a feature request.
Support for MediaTek Dimensity UFS-based devices
The new PKM improves its support for MediaTek-based devices by adding 59 new models with an MT6833 chipset. This update covers the Dimensity 700, 810, and 6020 UFS-based devices by Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, ZTE, and T-mobile manufacturers.
The recovery speed for Xiaomi Poco M3 Pro is up to 7,500 passwords per second on NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti.
Extended support for other Android devices
PKM now supports the MT6737 chipset, enabling GPU-accelerated passcode recovery for six additional devices from LG and Nokia.
The list of supported devices has been further expanded with four new models reported by our users: Samsung A13, Oppo Find X2, TCL 40 SE, and ZTE Blade A32. We greatly value your feedback!

Support for Android 14 and iOS 15.8.3
PKM 2024v3 supports the latest Android 14 version on devices with File-Based encryption. It also extends iOS compatibility by adding support for version 15.8.3. The update covers iPhone 6S and other Apple devices with A8/A8X/A9 processors.
Usability improvements
The PKM now offers an option to uninstall Passware USB drivers from the computer. This feature helps prevent conflicts with other installed forensic software.
