Passware Kit new features & updates

Passware introduces Device Decryption Add-on — a specialized solution designed for decrypting Western Digital My Passport drives and Macs equipped with Apple T2 Security Chips. Passware Kit 2023 v4 also features instant recovery of Wi-Fi passwords and extraction of network credentials from the standalone Windows “Users” and “Config” folders.

Passware Kit 2023 v3 enables users to unlock encrypted Apple Notes. It detects Apple Notes SQLite databases and recovers passwords with GPU acceleration. It also adds support for the latest version of KeePass, including databases protected with key files, and it instantly unlocks AxCrypt files using the password recovered for AxCrypt private key.

Passware Kit 2023 v2 introduces an option to detect and decrypt containers encrypted with Steganos. It also increases the chances of successful password recovery for VeraCrypt drives by recovering their Personal Iterations Multiplier (PIM) parameters. Last but not least, it bypasses Mac EFI firmware passwords and adds support for mounted physical drives.

Passware Kit 2023 v1 simplifies the configuration of multiple disks decryption by introducing group settings for decrypting disk images in batch mode. The new version also supports AxCrypt files and instantly decrypts the latest versions of VeraCrypt using the improved memory analysis option.

Passware announces full support for macOS Ventura by its products. The 1Password decryption option is updated with support for the latest 1Password 8 on all platforms: Windows, Linux, and macOS. Passware Kit 2022 v4 also helps users to gain access to sensitive data in QuickBooks databases by brute-forcing the original passwords for specific QuickBooks accounts.
